Default Another Pajero!

I've ordered a Tamiya CC-01 Pajero yesterday for my son and along with it, the bearings and the 3racing winch(and one for me too!!
I already started to build a trailer for it to pull my own truck when i have it(possibly by the end of the month).
Monday (if all goes well) i'll put some pictures of what i have so far! It's my first truck and built so be gentle!

The trailer will try to be a copy of this one... I hope

So... I started to put it together last night after i got home from work!
The condition was that my son was a part of the building, after all the Pajero is for him to run.
He's starting to assembly the pinion to the motor...

Them he put it in place

I lock the front diff and then assembly the all transmission for him to close it with the motor cover...

I finish up the front...

Today we're going to carry on the assembly, i'm happy because is my son's first build with me! eheh!

make sure your gear cover is on correctly, it fits snug and must be tight or the gears can walk up and get stuck..

is this what you mean???

if you locked the diff by moving one of the three spider gears I've found this prevents the cover of the diff from sitting flat unless you muscle it (and risk stripping the screws). At first mine would rub slightly and get stuck until I figured this out.

Also, great that you got your son involved in the assembly so running it is a payoff for work done. I did the same on my first cc-01 and my son dug it.

For the money, you cant go wrong with a HiTec 645MG, they run around $35ish and are stocked in any good hobby shop.
