do you have to move the servo when doing this mod?
You could probably rig it up to work with the stock servo location but it woudl require some sort of bell crank. Since the front axle would be in a more traditional configuration it made sense to move the servo to a more traditional place too. Plus, I'd relocated a servo to this spot on a previous cc-01 build and it was pretty easy to do.

Haven't touched it in a while. I should mount up the body as-is and run it, lol.

yeah, this one kind of fizzled out a bit...

Thanks guys. Been real busy with work and other stuff so haven't done much on this at all. The chassis is a runner though so I will mount the Sequoia body as is and run it when I get a minute, just to run it and really see how it does.

I can't wait to see this in person! I was waiting for someone to do this on a CC01. Awesome build so far!

Not bad. Definitely need to redo the 4-link though. Tried to use stock hardware and mounting points. I think I need to make a truss for the axle and do a proper triangulated 4-link.
Servo is too high as well.

I think Im finally ready to attempt this SAS mod on my own CC-01 thanks to this awesome thread!

I just tried the RC4WD link for the axles, and it looks like they are no longer available?

I hope I am wrong, but if so; what other axle would be acceptable for the SAS mod? TLT? Etc?

Actually I used crawlinColes Cold Case 1.5, no longer being made. It is much smaller than the rc4wd one. That eritex one looks good.

Its been a while but if I recall I used the stock cc-01 shocks. I tried to use as much of the original cc-01 parts as I could in doing this. Not 100% sure though as its been ages.
