Thumbs up The "Nasty" Pajero!!!!

Well this is another scaler I've been working on for a bit. I got is stock in a trade a while back. I think they are cool little IFS rigs So far I have locked the front end. Made a tire rack for the rear and mounted up a working spare. Put some 1.9 Crushers on some Hummer wheels and detailed them. Added some 3/4" wheel wideners to get the tires out the wells some and it did the trick nicely Made up a aluminum mount for the RC4WD winch and mounted it up.

When I got it, it had the Proline roof rack with the light bar mounted to it on the very back of the top. I didn't like it there so I mounted the light bar in front of the sunroof and put the rack back behind the sunroof, I like it a lot better there!

Also working on blacking out the flairs and trim. I still have to make new links and toss the ugly hang on everything stock links. Find some shocks for it. (If you have some that will fit hit me up!)

More to come soon guys, but here is where she is at right now......

It's just mocked up there, not mounted It will come down some but not much. I will make some wheel well fillers for it to cover them up. It need's the lift to clear the Crushers! But I'm loving this rig now!

Im in two minds as to wither those tyres suit it or not ? I know you are going for the highlift huge tyre look but I don't know. Maybe its because I am use to seeing the Jero's with stock looking wheels and tyres. I love the paint scheme, nice color choice. I will be watching this build with interest

Nice

I just finished doing the body drop It's sitting good now Made a trailer hitch for it so I could pull the trailer with it. Put the Dinky MRC tuber on the trailer so it looks like a single seater comp buggy! I'll snap some picts in a few.....

Sorry Kenny, wasnt knocking your rig or anything bro, just not really use to seeing them with the larger tyres. Its like when you look at a new car and you think I don't like that but after a while when you get use to seeing it you think hmmmmmm I WANT ONE !!!.

So wheres the progress pics then ?

Didn't take it that way daddy-0 They are just 1.9 Crushers, but they are big compared to other 1.9's

Not the best picts but you see where it's at now and what I'm doing with it The Dinky MRC looks good with it like a single seater comp rig.

Thank you I still have a ways to go with the rig but it's getting there.

I really want to change the lower and upper rear links. This is the first Pajero I've messed with. The lower link also is the shock mount. The upper link is no prob to change. The lower though......? I've been searching threads for 4 days now trying to see what other did to change them and can't find jack squat! Or looking for a mount that maybe someone makes that would work.

I would just put a TLT axle back there but I would rather keep it stock for the most part...... Does anyone know if there are CVD's for the front for these rigs? The dogbones pop in and out turning sharply.....

here's a link to help with the CVD's... mine did the same thing so i just switched the rubber O-ring from the knuckle side to the diff side. no longer do the bones pop out. haven't had a single problem with them since.

the lower link/shock mount i have seen some use these. (the ones on the bottom. i guess just bolt them to the lower half of the rearend case. i still need to order some for myself.
