Default Parma J-10 Honcho on cc01?

Does anyone have pics or know how well the Parma Honcho fits width wise on a cc01? I just picked a cc01 up and am looking for a body I havent seen any one else use.
Thanks!

Last person I saw use the Parma Honcho body was Diggler back in 2006. Being of rare sorts and all, ya might reconsider.

The wheelbase is 254mm, it'll take a little bit of tinkering but you can make it work. I'd like to see it, but you may get people complaining about an IFS on a Jeep.

Shit.... I haven't been websurfing, I've been out there doing work.

Anyway.. I can't recall seeing a full-size Jeep with IFS. Me, I'd use a body that fits the chassis design.

Rumor has it that the next generation Wrangler's going to have IFS/IRS/Both. Word has it that designers at SEMA said they'd reached the apex of solid axle technology in the JK.

Yeah I figured Id catch grief on the ifs on a Jeep, but I want to build something somewhat close to my 1.1 78 Cherokee so I figured Id use my new cc01. And as for ifs/irs on a Wrangler.. FAIL.

Because the women and high school kids that drive them want it to drive like a car

Yeah, that is what happens when Jeep is owned by a minivan company

IMO the new JK's are too damn fancy, give me back my old CJ!

Back to the original question, I was thinking the Honcho would look good on a SCX frame, might do it. If you want a body that is Jeep that fits the CC01, I found that the RJ Speed CJ-8 fits perfect! Same problem as before since Scramblers didn't have IFS.

And that's something that's always pissed me off. People bitch about the H3, how most will never be taken offroad, how only soccer moms and the likes want them..

And then you see this commercial..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Q0W3XNUyUI

How often do you think that Jeep goes offroad?

That commercial right there should be the end of the "It's not a Jeep so it sucks" crap. Lol.

'78 Cherokee, eh?

My daily driver is a '77 Cherokee with a 401 / 4 spd riding on 33's.
Also a '77 Waggy w/401, '78 Waggy w/360, and...and...and...blah blah blah
Currently working on a deal for a spotless J10, but negotiations have stalled.

Just ordered up a parma Honcho body a few minutes ago, so I'm looking for some pictures of one done up in a (even pseudo-) scaler fashion.

I fully realize this is a total necro job...but I finally have a J10 to model a semi-scaler on... '77 J10 Golden Eagle found it's way into my evil grasp!
