It just so happens that I took my son to Toys R Us today to use a gift card he had and I found the snowboards, had to pick up two for the future.

No pics, they are for an undecided future build. Most likely will be another Jeep though with custom roof rack for the boards. Kind of the same idea that I think you have going. Will probably be a CC-01 chassis though.

The boards are both Burton, kinda biased towards them. (Many years ago that is what I rode). Do a search for Burton Safari 175 and see what comes up, you may get a clue to how old I am. I still have it, to bad the plastic on the bindings is shot. Also check out the Burton Performer, wish I still had that board.

How stiff are they? My CC-01 is pretty heavy with the body brackets and electronics box, so they might work ok on mine..

Just put some softer springs in them

wih factory springs I put my CC01 rear on a scale and just to make them move a little it took almost 3/4s of a pound..to bottom them out it took almost 6 pounds..that's a lot for our rigs...I also tried out MRC crawler shocks..to soft for me..I ended up getting envader shocks by duratrax from a member here, lots of springs to choose from and they are adjustable, I got 4 front shocks.

jeep

I'm tempted to get one of these kits now.

I keep debating between a jeep build and a land rover.
