fill it with hot glue or jb weld... i cant remember if you can move one of spider gears to lock it or not... i added thin washers behind a couple of the spider gears, this almost locked the diff but when it gets into a bind the other tire will unload |

Take an extra spider gear and drop it in between two of the ones on the "Y" shaft in the diff.

| Search and you will find your answers. The easiest way is to take one of the spider gears out and drop it in between the other two. This will lock it and if you even want it open again just put the gear back.

It is simpler to close diff's cover. |

3 Spider gears are sufficient enough.

Go for a limited-slip front diff. It's tight enough to be effective, but you don't loose steering. |
