You aren't being mean lol. I think it sits too high too, but until I can get a scx chassis for it, it will have to work

Thanks. I am still trying to find where to get the parts I need. I need the engine spur gear and the gear it meshes with. If I can find those two parts, I will get it running again. I also think that I am going to go back to the FJ body and use the Wrangler for another build

Any 16T or 20T 48P metric pinion will fit. I highly recommend using the 16T as it will give you more slower speeds.

So I scrapped the Jeep body for a later build(already started fender trimming lol), and I am going back to the FJ40 body. I got in the mail today the motor pinion that I needed, but I am still waiting on the gears that I need and I can get this thing working again. The next thing to do is get some more GPM parts to help out the performance. I will prob get the 4-links and shock mounts next. RC4WD shocks will be after that

We got the new gears and pinion installed today, but it still dosent work. Any ideas as to why it isnt meshing even with all new gears?

Is the pitch on the gears all the same?

Sadly no. We need to find a bigger pinion becase the GPM moter mount pushes it too far over. I am also waiting on the GPM front portal axles which were ordered two weeks ago and still aren't here.

I have news:

For the first time since June, the CC is working properly. I got some Tamiya pinions in that helped the meshing problem, and the GPM portal axles fit perfectly:

Next on the list is a 10mm lift and a reworked 4-link rear setup

if you haven't found out how to water proof you're axles yet all you really need to do is clean and lube you're bearings and gears after mud or water running
