Land Rover Defender D90 on CC01 chasis?

The beautiful thing about the CC01 is you can make anything fit. If the wheelbase is too long, make longer links and extend the driveshaft.

I had to stretch the wheelbase out to 11.5" for my H3. A lot longer then either of the default wheelbases.

The most common (And probably the easiest) thing to do is to use Traxxas telescoping driveshafts (The cheap, common ones from a Rustler, Slash, etc) and you can cut/glue them to the proper length. If you need a longer shaft, glue the "Male" part of the shaft into the "female" part of the shaft until you have the driveshaft length you want. This way is probably the cheapest and requires the least amount of work.

What I did on my H3 was make a pilot bearing out of the front hub of an old Nitro Rush, with the gear shaft from a TL01 cut to the right length and flanged on both sides so I could use the Traxxas yoke ends. This was actually MAD4RNR's idea, and while he didn't use the same parts, the idea was his. I like that it keeps the final shaft short so it's less prone to flexing/breaking under stress.

A third option is to buy a longer shaft from RC4WD. See their "Punisher Shaft" selection and pick a long one with the Tamiya-sized holes. They're kind of expensive tho.

Thanks again Rampage...I'll study 1st option. Sounds easy...
Also will be checking out the punisher shaft...afraid I get the wrong stuff and thats it!
