Default Toyota Chinook

Hey folks, this is my latest build. It's far from being a crawler, but it's a CC01 so what the heck. The wheelbase has been extended to 12 inches.

This is going to be awesome! Are those Kawada rims I see or something else? Are you going to build an interior as well?

Yep, kawada rims. I had to make a small adapter ring to get the rc4wd tires to fit better. You might be able to see it in the pictures. I plan on a full interior for the camper and a partial for the cab.

Looking good. Can't wait to see the finished product. With the cab on the back being so bulky will it be very top heavy?

Thanks. Most of the weight will be in the back, but not really up too high. I'm curious to see how it will handle when it's all done.

Thanks guys

Here's the driveshaft. I cut the stock one in half and brazed in a section of 3/16 solid rod.

Time to start smoothing everything out. Not too much left to do on the outside

And a short video of the test drive

How did you make the hubcaps?

Thank you. I made them out of casting resin.

Thanks. I just need to figure out the best way to secure them, but still be able to take the wheels off.

Thanks man, if only I could get the XC itself not to suck. Steering is a mess. I have some silly things planned for the interior. Waiting on an integral part before I can forge ahead
