Default Just another dumb Q about wheels

can someone measure the stock wheels of Pajero (CC-01) to see if the 1.9 Flat Irons are a direct fit for replacement...danke
I know somewhere I see these days a picture with both (or even other brand) side-by-side...

They should I havent "measured" the rim but I have held a flat Iron up to the rim and the should fit. The pajero has 1.9 rims so any 1.9 tires should fit Hope this helps.

The Flat Irons will fit. My only suggestion is to measure how much room you have. The Flatirons are a tall tire and if you do not plan on raising the body you will have some serious tire rub. Here is a picture of the flatirons on my CC-01.

Flat Irons are a 4" tire. The Rock Cruisers are a 3.7" tire.

I opted for the Rock Cruisers to replace my stock CC01 tires. They were the only cheap 1.9" replacement tire that wasn't too big for scale and was much better performing than stock (especially in mud/snow/dirt.) Think I got set of 4 for $30 shipped on ebay.

Keep in mind they're not going to be nearly as capable as an actual foam tire from proline or rc4wd. But if you need scale size at low price I highly recommend it. Plus anything to get rid of the stockers!

the FIs are accualy 4.2" so they are a lil taller than you think. but IMO the RC4WD Mud Thrashers are the most capable tire for the <4" tire size IMO, and a set can be had for around $25 on the used section here.

This look like a sweet deal...I will start looking after a set of ones...what size is?: 1.9 or 1.55 ?

Sorry, I got it...the 1.55 or 1.9 is related with the wheel size...I need 1.9 size to fit the original wheels...

Doh! I was getting my info from a tower hobbies page that is apparently wrong.

I had almost gone Mud Thrashers myself, but at 3.9" it was just a couple tenths too big to be accurate. Stickler for scale at the moment.

The 1.55" Mud Thrashers with a 3.74" diameter would be perfect... but then I'm buying wheels and tires. In any case, I'll probably spring for them eventually.

just a quick one, the 1.55 will strech to 1.9 wheels, pretty easily, from what I read around...also this will give theam a little goofy look (I like that...)

I have been running the mud thrashers in the 1.9 size on my CC01 and find them to be a very capable tyre. I was looking at getting the 1.55 and fitting to the 1.9 but they are not as wide and there is only a 4mm height difference as this picture shows the difference.

nice found...cheaper, but don't know if the quality of wheels are the same as the firsts one (didn't see the scale screws)...

Outer Diameter: 3.74 inch / 95 mm

Width: 1.4" (36mm)

Inner Diameter: 1.9" (52mm)

20 USD per pair with wheels included...on rc channel.

Those are nice. Looks like they will fit the 12mm hex. Any one have these and know if they are soft or hard compound?

looks identical to this ones, except the silver screw from the wheels, and the marks on the tires sides...
