Intellect makes some lipos in stick packs standard shape, so it'll fit in the battery tray fine. There are other brands too like venom, dura trax or team orion

If you get a 2s that's the same basic dimensions as a stick pack, you might need to modify the opening in the chassis. I prefer a smaller battery, I'm running a Hyperion 2500mAh 2s.

thanks chino, what size is yours and where'd you get it. I was thinking of running it mounted up front for weight, and the electronics, in the the battery tray. Is this what most are doing? Please post pics of your setups

I run either a 2s mini slash sized 2200mah lipo or a stick shaped 4000 mah lipo. My truck is very nose heavy even with the battery in the stock location and the esc/rx on the plate above the battery. I am considering moving the electronics to the rear to help balance it a little more.

6 cell from cheap battery packs dot com...3300mAh on a 60T 16T pinion will run...shoot...all day. I don't think I have drained that battery in my CC01..2-3 hours is our outings.

ohh, and in the stock battery location.

Thanks guys! That is exactly what I was looking for. Is it nose heavy? covered How long does it run? covered.

I am also planning on running the 60t with 16 pinion. So thanks a bunch.

This rig is for my daughter to go out with me and I dont want to have to change batteries much. I just want to turn it on and have her go, and go.

Thanks

I get them from ALL e RC, good prices and great bateries. It's under 5oz and is fine in the stock location. My setup is a bit different from the norm but the battery will go in through the factory hole with room to spare. I'd suggest keeping it from bouncing around though.
