Hi!
I'm akaki
I live in Georgia.
I have a tamiya pajero
servo: futaba s3003
esc: teu-k 101 bk
radio: futaba t2phk
I am going to modify my pajeros
I need advice.
I am going to re-painting

As far as paint, it's whatever floats your boat.

As to upgrades, start with a complete set of ball bearings if you have not already. Also:

GPM steering kit
Mod the front suspension for more lift
Crawler ESC and motor
Lipo batteries
1.9" tires like the RC4WD Rock Crushers or Rock Creepers
Beadlock wheels


This list goes on and on. You can spend some serious cash on this little gem of an RC but the first three I mentioned above will make a vast improvement for not too much cash. Ball Bearings (10.00 to 20.00), GPM steering kit ($15.00) and the front suspension mods (FREE).

Some of the more seasoned CC01 gurus will be in I am sure with better info for you.

I did NOT like the trail busters on my CC-01. I sold em after one comp

They loaded up with mud and became racing slicks. The compound is too hard and they were too narrow to have a good contact patch on flat iron rock.

I run Tomahawks now... much better
