Wanted a way to turn the lights on and off without taking off the body. Rigged up a wire to push and pull the TLU-01 on/off. The best part is it makes a great hook for some scale rope I was looking to hang. I've since painted the hook black...

Push rope hook in, lights on. Pull rope hook out, lights off!

Final lighting effects. Dashboard and license plate.

Total of 14 lights on this truck. I think I'm pretty much done for now... next step, Outdoor photos in action!

Video is complete of the first run - "Grassy Mountain"...

Driver "Cole" takes his Tamiya Unimog CC01 up "Grassy Mountain" and back down to reach his favorite lookout spot.

I love that front bumper. I think I may have to copy that on my Mog. Looks awesome.

It's the Pro-Line western bumper set. I painted hooks red, cut the "caution" stripes to fit, and used the square metal pusher bar to guard the 3Racing winch (Which I painted red as well). It took some creative bolting, to get it attatched strongly, but it fits nicely. I also cut away the stock bumper on the lexan. Once you do that it fits well as you can see.

Here are some final completed outdoor photos.

Cheers,
Skottoman

I bought a house vent grill at the hardware store and cut out the mesh. It's metal. It's one of those grills at the base of a house to ventilate the crawlspaces. About 14" by 8". Actually there are lots of different mesh you can get in those things and just cut them out.

Time for some thicker shock oil and stronger springs.

I have a old one , from when it first was created and I called Her Gumbo. Will post the link to it later. Truck is broken down for rerouting the whole scheme of it. Had a new vision just the other day. Drawing up and measuring now.

Some updates to the MOG!

- Installed Junfac steel driveshaft. (Mainly so I could change wheelbase easier).

- Installed 3Racing steering set, but still messing with it, as it seems to slip and not stay centered. Even with threadlock. Grrr...

- Also installed front 3racing universal shafts. These are nice!

More to come later...
Cheers,
Skottoman
