Default Snow pics of my "new to me" CC01 (soon to be FJ Cruiser)

Went out today with the little brother to test out how the cc01 did on the snow, and to test out the TSL tires that I won from Proline's Ride of the Week contest

well....
with the stock tires, the really "loose" front diff and even with the locked rear, it SUCKED
but...after putting in some 500,000 diff lube in the front diff, and installing the 2.2 Traxxas Canyon tires from my mini summit, this thing is a beast on snow!

Outperformed my SCX10 in every way! I am happy with the TSL's on snow though, it did a lot better than the flat irons. But with these Traxxas Canyon tires on the CC01 and it's light weight, it just floated through everything and anything! even on soft snow.
Even when I had the front diff "loose" it still did A LOT better than the SCX10.

I'll be honest tho...I did lose interest on the CC01 when I got it...the stock tires sucked....and didn't see the potential yet. But now I am very happy as well as my brother
I also have another FJ Cruiser body on the way now that my SCX10 is modeled after one of my uncles, Im going to model this one after my other uncle
