The main priority is to install ball bearings when you build it. Over time the stock steering will get sloppy, but if your rig is new you are fine for now. |

Nice Bronco! I've been debating whether or not to get another XC. Here's my stretched XC with a Tamiya Tundra hardbody still a work in progress. Waterproofed with CVD's up front and locked front and rear diff. Flat black paint so I can just touch up rock rash. |

Any ideas or suggestion on how to lift up more since im using new sets of tires about 4" tall, my bronco looks tuff but rubbing against the fender when turning or climb making me crazy..do i need to chnge the coil over or better shockd around 78mm-80mm, i've been working late making custom things for the rear linkage..trying to save more budget making owned custom parts..long time waiting to order from the other side of the country..plz anyone do have xperience on rising to fit 1.9 tires..

I would consider staying with tires that are in the 100mm range like RC4WD Prowlers. You could raise the front suspension a little bit by mounting some spacers under the front suspension plate. Problem with doing this is it binds up the front steering and you tend to break off the dog bones. Those shocks on the Tundra are very limited. Not much up travel at all. They look cool but are not going to perform well at all. If you’re looking for more travel check this link out. TamiyaUSA.com - Modifying the CC-01 Chassis By: Joe Anderson |
