Default Toyota Build

Got tired of my scx10 seems to easy to drive so I'm going for round two on my cc01. Pretty basic build just wanted to share with yall.

-four link rear
-rc4wd scale shocks
-proline chisel tires
-axial bead lock rims
-toyota 40 body
-rear shock mounts for axle
-axial 55t
-traxxas servo
-cut the brick off

Things to get:

-steering upgrade
-better servo
-gru
-rc4wd rims not sure what ones yet
-winch system

and I'm sure the list will grow over time hope I'm happy with the build. Wish me luck lol.

Tips and Tricks are welcome. Thanks.

What do you mean by "rear shock mounts for axle"? The Junfac 4-link kit comes with specific axle adapter pieces that are machined. If you're going with the GPM 4-link, then yes you'll need the extra mounts as GPM seem perfectly happy to sell you something that wont work without another one of their parts. Also, there are lots of rims out there, dont limit yourself to RC4WD. Check out Proline and Vanquish bead lockers.

Built my rig over the weekend and all I can say is wow I am happy that I gave my cc01 a second chance. Much more fun than the axial trail honcho.

Derb: you sure are right I had to buy rear lower shock mounts cause I used GPM products and I am still looking into other bead lock rims. The rig is still to crazy fast with the integy 55t motor need gru to get nice crawl.

Hope to add pics soon. Thanks!

Sweet, good to hear you're happy with it. Definitely grab a GRU, they are so cheap and do SOO much for the CC01. Patiently awaiting pics...
