It looks like it will be alright just judging from your pic. Give it a try and let me know how you go.

So I got the Dremel and drill out, did a bit of binding resolution. Spaced the upper control arm and ground out a little bit off the inside of the lower control arm. It all resulted in about 2-3mm extra travel/height. The left hand side is the result of the work. |

Sounds like a small number, but looks pretty sweet in that pic. How did you space out the upper control arm?

Just spaced it it with 3mm washer/spacer between ball joint and body.

I'm confused...Where did you place this washer? Picture? As for the whole truck, I love what you did! It looks awesome and with all that travel it does not look like you have a CC-01 chassis.... | |

So I locked the rear diff yesterday with the parts provided. How do I lock the front? Anyone got pics?

Use the 3x spider gears that would normally go into the rear diff. With 6x spider gears in there it's locked up tight. |

I've never been able to get the extra gears in one of these. I gave up and stuffed Yeah Racing spool in mine. Same effect, but mo' money.

If you sand the back side of the spider gears they fit in much more nicely.

I cheated even more and just flipped one of the three gears to inbetween the other two. I've had no issues, but the front diff is not exactly balanced that way.

You can remove slope in the GPM steering by filing the linkage bushings shorter to where they just rotate back and forth with no up and down deflection. Also, The locking spider gears fit in the front diff better if you notch out the gear teeth at the back of the spider, get rid of the round flange that goes from tooth to tooth. It will nestle down better into the other spider gears and allow you to screw the diff together with less difficulty and let the diff gear rotate freely in the front gearbox.

Yeah it works well. However now the turning circle is twice as big, so thinking of maybe unlocking the front to keep the better handling.

It's really not worth it man, when just one of my front CVDs broke the truck was useless on anything except flattish ground. These rigs lift the front corners pretty often so you need all the front traction you can get.
