Hells yeh, that looks fantastic man! Flex shots make it look just like the 1:1 version.

Thanks derb! Yeah! The small amount of flex makes it look more real! I like it!

Back to the "xtreme" one, slowly I´ve been working on it. The dashboard didn´t came out as I expected so I´ll have to find another solution...

But I´ve worked on the body and made some changes.

Marked to be cut.

This side is done!

And this one too!

The turning indicators are done as well.

A view from the front.

From the side with the tires.

From the front with the tires.

From the rear.

Today I received this small package from RC4WD.

A 80T motor for my Jeep Willys

Another XR4 receiver.

And I would be extremely excited with this awesome LED bar if it wasn´t for the condition it arrived. I mean, spend money making better packages to protect items and then just throw them in the box without care seems a bit dumb...

This is a result of a careless packaging: a bent L bracket.

Here you see how it should have arrived.

Anyway, moving along, this is more or less how it will be mounted. It will be attached to the interior cage.

The bar in its 32 lumens of power.

Even in a well lit environment it still makes a difference.

My mate runs one of those lights, its insanely bright. Lights up a trail for a good 10 meters ahead of it in pitch black darkness. Also if you miss having wheel arches for the visual factor, you might be able to get a set of the Axial Dingo SCX10 bolt on arches to fit.

That is a lot of light power!

I removed the wheel arches to clear the tires. Will have to remove a bit more in the front, so the tires don't rub so much.

More mods to the fenders.

I would like to use 1.9 Flat Irons because I have the set of 5 and it think it would be nice to have a matching spare, but as much as i cut the fenders, the tires rub. That is due to the off set of the wheels.

Now some details on the fenders.

Tire stick a lot out of the body.

Tried some 1.9 MT Baja MTZ and they fit nicely dut to the off set of the wheel!

Trail Buster also fit.

Which ones?

Today it was the first run of this one!

Electronic provisionally added and off we go!

The first time I press the trigger, I was shocked! This thing just shoots foward with impressive speed! And I´m using a 55T motor!! I don't even want to imagine how it would be with the stock motor!!! The Pajero did good with minor hung ups, the bigger tires help a lot. I just didn´t like the torque and the speed. Thinking of getting a 80T motor...

This is coming along nicely! I really liked the two tone paint job on the second page.

All the work being done to your second one is looking great as well. I'm not so sure I dig the big not so scale looking light bar, but maybe once you get it all put togehter maybe it will fit the bill. Subscribed to this one!

Thanks SFC K!

Yeh the light bar is a bit big but it was the cheapets one shipped to me! I live in Portugal! So shipping costs are very high!

Slow progress but... It´s something!

Challenge: fit all this stuff in a tiny space...

Receiver fits nicely under the body support. One less thing to worry about!

Motor and battery wires route through there.

ESC is hold with zip ties that go through holes it the wheel arch. Looks better than the photos.

Some more holes and the wires are better secured and leveled...

Battery cables entering the battery compartment.

Headache. The newer version of this battery is slightly bigger and has thicker cables, so only the old ones fit... Need to keep trying to fit the newer one...

Huummm... 4 screws in there? What for? At the end only needed 3.

Txanam! It's for a rear winch!

Cable guide in brass.

And with the fairlead.

Very good.

I also have a CC-01, a Bronco.
I like the car, but the steering system sucks.
I have a GPM Racing aluminium steering system, but still sucks.

Yah... CC01 steering is a "cancer"... But ther are ways to minimize the problem...

Now, update time!

Slowly a few minutes a day, things are getting done in this project.

A new dashboard made of styrene. More developments on this another day...

This was the solution for holding the body.

Dedicated my self to the front bumper. This are not the screws that I wanted, but the ones in mind were too short...

Plate for the winch.

Some holes are useless...

General view.

The attack angle seems good!

How do you minimize the steering "problem"? You didn´t change the steering in this car.

The car is very good, I like it...

I shaved the part that goes through the chassis because she's longer that necessary and has a lot of play, and on the other part, I used a 3mm washer in the screw so that the plastic part fits nice without play.

I´ll take photos as soon as I´m back in the garage!
