Well, my friend introduced me to RC drifting. I thought to myself, I want to drift but I don't have the $$$$ to buy a drifter. Soooo I converted the CC-01 to a drifter.

Cost - $9.99 for some drift tires...

I used 3s lipo with a CC sv2 ESC and the 16t pinion with stock motor. Limit the shock travel and stiffen up the springs anf there you have it!

This photo has a cap screw but thats before i realized that the cap prevents the cover from going back on.

Great mod you did there. Is that 12t pinion a Tamiya AV pinion gear or a standard 48 pitch?

Thanks.

Check out the "Official" CC-01 Drifter Video

I made it with my iPhone and iMovie... Perhaps one day I'll get a Go Pro to do some High def Video.

That was a sweet video! I like how it started out. Pretty cool!

How is the concrete on your tires? It looks really ruff.

Thanks... The concrete is shredding the tires at an alarming rate!!! I usually drift on the road or on my smooth concrete garage floor. That's not to bad on the tires. There's just not enough room to shoot the video in the garage and the street gets annoying because I always have to move the camera for cars passing.

I truly enjoyed this! Great detail of the build, then a change to drift. Versatile Pajero! Great videos! Ever try her on a track and put the others to shame?
