Hey guys. I'm new to the forum, and returning to R/C after about a 15 year hiatus. We get amazon giftcards at work sometimes, after helping someone out or doing something above and beyond, as a pat on the back. Just before Christmas, I had one sitting in my amazon account, and I wasn't really sure what to do with it. My kids are getting to the age where they have started to do stuff on their own, with their friends, so I have some free time to fill with a hobby. I saw the CC01 Unimog, and thought...may as well. When I ordered the kit, I also ordered a set of bearings, and a GPM motor mount, so I built it with those. I locked the rear, and left the front open. I couldn't find Tamiya paint locally (both LHSes only stock TS and AS, not PS), but I could only find Pactra rattle cans, so I didn't quite get the color I wanted. Anyway, here's how it turned out. I think it was OK for my first attempt in 15 years. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
