The expedition The wraith roasted the middle gear in the trans, and the mud truck got pulled out to finnish out the run. I am very impressed with the prformance of this rig. It hung with the scx's in evrything but one climb and the mud.. (Scx's had2.2's and 3slipos.)And out climbed the avalanche in most. Only got hung up on a couple of spots. Only two issues in the entire run 2.5+ hrs.in one hillclimb I poped a dogbone out of the front end and I lost a link bolt, otherwise fantastic run. that F-150 body looks like it will serve as a nice project, the leafs and IFS should be really scale too for that generation. and if i remember correct 6-lug is scale for that generation as well will still be following, really like the Landy, and as im a Ford guy, excited to watch the F-150 as well. Edit: nope i checked, still 5-lug in those years, my bad |

Landy is?was? owned by ford haha. I am a Ford guy myself. This body is really to narrow for my taste, it would be perfect with mrc axles. I am thinking about running this as a guest rig, the body is fairly thrashed. Of this body style the 1/2 tons 150s had 5lugs the lt3/4 tons had 6 but no flare side and only long bed. |

And the carnage/clean up. Really wasnt bad considering... The center skid got used severly, the rocker guards held up very well, somhow I cracked a light lens(front drivers side) and bent the front bumper, and the tires rubed the flares almost constantly(anoying). |

Looks to have held up rather nice, if thats the only arguments thus far then . All that means is that there is mor room for more mods.

This morning I made a quickie rear bumper, mud flaps for the rear, reversed the motor wires(had them wrong before) replaced the link nuts with locking nuts.(lost one on our last trail ride), and trimed the flares. Last edited by lonleycreeper; 03-12-2013 at 10:34 AM. |

It appears to me that most anytime i post all i can say is Nice job or something along those lines. so taking that into consideration, ill continue, i truly admire the work you have put into this rig, the bumpers are well built and look great, and the fabrication on suspension etc, has been a true joy to watch, it's came a long way since you got it. well done. |
