| CC-01 Wrangler
Heres a CC-01 I just finished. My first CC-01 and I enjoyed the simplicity of the platform and all the hopups. The RC-Channel stuff sure is beautiful! I was originally going to build a Hummer HX concept KingCobra variance but figured I would just stick with the basics, the Jeep Wrangler. Parts: Tamiya Hummer Jeep Wrangler Tamiya 84071 Twin Hammers Servo Twin Hammers ESC Tamiya Sport Tuned Motor Flysky FS-GT3B Radio CC-O1 Boca Bearings Tamiya Lighting Unit 1.55 Mickey Thompson MKZ tires + spare Gear Head Krusher Aluminum Wheels GPM racing Aluminum Steering kit Junfac Pajero Front Skid plate Junfac Middle Skid plate and Rear 4-Link Pro-line Rectangular Roof Rack Pro-Line Accessories Pro-line Truck light Kit RC4wd Wrangler cowl vent cover RC4wd Wrangler Aluminum HingeTrim Kit I just have to finish wiring up the lighting (using an Axial 5>1 for the light bar) and single Leds for everything else. Also need to mount the front LEDs and perhaps two more Junfac metal lights I have as fog lights. My goal was a Safari Style Scale vehicle. I've never dedicated so much time to a body its going to be a shame to run! Nevertheless I built it to sell so no biggie. The good news is that the lights and roof rack will protect the 4 coats of Sand TS Tamiya paint on the roof. The Body itself is almost a battleship gray. Once I get the lights wired I'll take her out into the wilderness where she belongs and get some proper forced perspective shots.. Cheers, D |

That looks really nice and all the scale bits really make that body pop! Suggestion would be to paint the molding on the side for the fender flares flat black. I think that would look really good. |

I haven't seen the scale hinges before, nice touch. Looks good (at least prior to the first run!)

| Re: CC-01 Wrangler I considered it but got sick of all the details. I've got 3 other trucks to finish! Wiring up the LEDs tonight. |

finished the LED setup and unfortunately the Tamiya LED light controller can't put out the milliamps or voltage or whatever to power the 5 light string in one port. So I had to supplement it with a small 2 port one. No biggie. The main lights turn on and off with a switch while the 5 LED bar turns on by plugging in a wire. Shes ready for listing. I think I'll offer the Accessories if someone meets my buy it now price. :bigthumb: The lights are bright enough to light about 20' down the hall. need a better macro lens |

Looks great! I agree on the black fender extensions, if you get around to it. Looks really good as it sits though. The lights came out great!
