Default Billybongo's CC01 fj cruiser

Just ordered the fj off ebay, (in stock in HK).
That gives me a week or two to read and reread all the posts here!
Truly appreciate the free sharing of expertise and ideas
More to come......

New member here. I also pre-ordered an FJ Cruiser from Tower. Love the scale look but not sure the chassis is up to any real crawling, but it's a low cost scale crawler so I'm sure it be fine for what it is. Would love to get an Axial Rubicon, but I have enough unbuilt kits for now. I also just got a Subaru Brat in. It's not a crawler, but it is a scale truck. I plan a scale build with lots of details including dyeing the frame black.

No, Tamiya ABS does not dye well, and will warp - even on low heat. Paint it instead. I speak from experience.

Sweet!! Glad to see the FJ's finally getting out there.
