hello everybody, I am new to the RC world and would like to have some advices from you veterans I have my CC01 chassis for 2 mouths and the steering is becoming unacceptable After some research GPM will not be my consideration since its design flaw My preference will be relocating the servo but the common way is cutting the chassis that may too difficult to a beginner However I found another way to make it work https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlv2bbVpTe4 what is your comment to this mod? is it workable? thank you very much!! ![]() |

I did it too about 5 years ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bb0CGy0BaEk ![]() And I was not the first to do it, pretty sure. Its a huge improvement but there is very minor bump steer (not affecting slow crawling) given its an IFS. |

thanks bro all your answer ![]() whether cutting large part of the chassis or not make me hesitate i prefer the way that youtube link presented because only a few holes is needed to drill however the main concern now is how to put the servo in the front of the chassis as the room there is not enough unless cutting two more gaps to fit it wanna keep the chassis as original as i can ![]() or i should buy a gpm steering kit plus some mod to it? |
