| Brass Tube Sliders
Hey guys, I'm looking to make some rock sliders out of some brass tube I've got hanging around. I've got some very basic ability to braze the tube together, but I don't know how exactly to attach the tube to the chassis. My first thought is to use the mounting holes provided. I'm confident the tubing is strong enough while it's still round. The problem is that would require flattening that spot of the tube and creating a weak point. I'm not sure how else to go about this. Any ideas? Last edited by monkeyracing; 04-29-2014 at 04:57 PM. |

Get some flat stock and braze the tube to it.
