I was hoping it would be more like the can top instead of a marble lowrider. It's old man gold that would have probably stayed more gray if I didn't use a black backing. Oh well. Live and learn. The new body will not be painted with tamiya next time. I've got some pactra stashed away. |

I was informed today to stay away from Tamiya paint. I found out the hard way that Parma paint SUCKS! Don't know if it's true, but I've heard Spazstix (or how ever in the hell you spell it) bought Pactra and are using the old formula. Just what I heard, not sure if it's true or not. I'm sure they all work good if you know the tricks to each brand? Maybe a set of gold wheels from a Wrangler would look good with the gold body? Maybe even some yellow under body lights and curb feelers?  All kidding aside, I like it. It's one of a kind with that paint scheme  |

Brand new can of black and gold were f'd up. Gold came out like water and black came out way too thick. There's only one coat on it and it's more than enough. The gold is growing on me. Might have to try it if tamiya ever gets their shit together. |

They're not gold but there's front and rear rock lights installed. Gotta foil some chit but you get the idea.

Yep. I had a personal limit of 2 but she said that was a weird number and suggested I got a 3rd.
