The Lime-a-Bean (Geo Tracker) Scored this rare body out of the FS section a few months ago and knew I had to build a CC01. http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...psnw8onup0.jpg Found a decent chassis on CL and built a 4 link to fit the descender body wheelbase http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...psbode7kni.jpg Cut the brick off and made some Velcro body mounts. http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...psx7y3ugbj.jpg Added some SDI trail doctors and she's ready for paint http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...pskor3pv2r.jpg Tamiya lime green and some rc4wd scale mirrors. http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...psc0sqvg04.jpg http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...psldxrzfrq.jpg Stretched an old LCC driveshaft with some aluminum rod and I've got a roller. http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...psvpihxupu.jpg |
Re: The Lime-a-Bean (Geo Tracker) good looking little rig there . what motor are you going to power it with |
Re: The Lime-a-Bean (Geo Tracker) I really like that body! Guess I've never seen on before. |
Re: The Lime-a-Bean (Geo Tracker) Here's the electrics rundown: RC4WD 65t motor. (These motors are only 10 bucks and the best deal in RC crawling I've come across. They take a beating and when worn out, just replace with another!) Axial Ae-5 ESC Kyosho 200oz servo (less than $10 shipped off eBay) 1350 3s Spektrum Rx with glitch buster. Cheap electrics and working great so far. http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...psmmmecaou.jpg |
Re: The Lime-a-Bean (Geo Tracker) Did you paint the walker Evans wheels? If so what color is that? |
Re: The Lime-a-Bean (Geo Tracker) I did paint them, its rustoleum rattle can "aluminum" that took an hour to dry and a week to harden. not kidding. |

Interesting, thanks! |
Re: The Lime-a-Bean (Geo Tracker) Got the junfac skid plate but didn't want to lose that much ground clearance. So I cut a hole in it and I'm not running any spacers (actually shaved the front mount posts down some.) http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...pshv2kezaz.jpg |
Re: The Lime-a-Bean (Geo Tracker) Always happy to see another Tracker. ;) Looking good.. I like the color.. can't miss that one coming .. :D |
Re: The Lime-a-Bean (Geo Tracker) How much run time are you getting with that 1350 3s? |
Re: The Lime-a-Bean (Geo Tracker) Tracker body looks great check out mine under the scx10 and nerby149 tracker. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk |
Re: The Lime-a-Bean (Geo Tracker) Haven't run a full battery thru it yet but I'm expecting at least 30 minutes out of the 1350. I'll report back. Welded up a simple steel bumper for the rear last night. http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...pslxbr9mkm.jpg http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...psb8j6v0l0.jpg http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...psvublk2ot.jpg http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...pslmxj1qyz.jpg |
Re: The Lime-a-Bean (Geo Tracker) man i wish that body was still in production. nice rig. "thumbsup" |
Re: The Lime-a-Bean (Geo Tracker) Nice little find - sits well on the CC01! |
Re: The Lime-a-Bean (Geo Tracker) Added a little posi-traction to the front diff with some ear plug chunks. http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...psqyamukc6.jpg |

Re: The Lime-a-Bean (Geo Tracker) What the? How does that work? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: The Lime-a-Bean (Geo Tracker) I'd kinda like to know a little more myself. Video sure would be nice. |
Re: The Lime-a-Bean (Geo Tracker) The ear plug bits are soft enough to squeeze through the 3 spider gears. If one of the front tires really gets bound up it will let the other spin a little. (I can force the diff to spin by grabbing both tires, but when driving all four wheels spin on steep climbs) Hope this description helps some. I'll get some video soon. |
Re: The Lime-a-Bean (Geo Tracker) Added a spare tire and mounted a shackle on the bumper for pulling all those stuck scx10s out. http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...pseuyzltlk.jpg |
