Awesome -- thanks for the inspiration! Thinking I might be able to do a decent replica of Case's MB4/94, which is how some 406s were sold in the States...

I would love to know what you did to the chassis to accommodate.
Thanks!

Sorry pal, just saw ur post today...

As for the mod, it wasn't that hard... You just have to be carefull of what you doing and how you want to cut the cab...
The hardest part was to fix the hard plastic pieces on what was left of the lexan body... So i used some small drop of ''crazy glue'' from place to place, fix the flat bed in place, wait till it dry and then fix it completly with Shoegoo when i was satisfied...

Hope it help...

And then, the easyest and fastest way to make an interior is the Dinky rc universal interior

Some mods to fit the cab:

And that's about it

I've been debating another CC01. I've missed my Mog ever since I traded it, and after looking through this thread the CC01 bug is really biting me. Nice build thread and original ideas. Love the way you put the Dinky interior in it. I know and crawl with Matt the owner/operator of Dinky R/C and actually got to help make mine. Well, I flipped a switch on for him A easy trick I found on those interiors is that it's very simple to illuminate the dash. I used the extra decal as a template and cut out the gauge holes, applied the other decal then put some LED's behind the gauges. Thought I'd share just in case you want to add lights. Can't have to many lights lol. Lights are not as bright in person and you can see the detail of the gauges, I just believe in owning crappy cameras.

On my other cc01 fj cruiser, I have a Integy pro lathe 55t that I love... Smooth, a lot of torque and enought wheelspin with 3s lipo...

Finally swap the 35t for the Integy Pro Lathe 55t... much much better with 3s lipo... I think it s one of the best setup for those little rigs...
Did some maintnance on the steering too... Ready to go now...

I like the color scheme on the 'Mog, looks good!

For general trail use / mild climbing I'm finding that the 55t works great, for more difficult climbing the RC4WD 80t is the ticket.

I'm just running my CC-01 rigs on 2s right now, the Reedy #752 Wolfpack "nimh" shaped lipo packs. They are 4000mah, 35c and fit just snug enough that you won't have to use the battery retaining clip. We get hours of run time on these.

Today's run with the new 55t motor... PERFECT

Perform so well for such a ''cheap'' (upgraded) little rig...
