| Clacking gears with aftermarket motor.
Basically, it runs smooth as hell with the silvercan (and WAY too fast), but the RC4WD 65T motor I bought for it makes the gears "Clack" when it runs in either direction. The two motors have identical dimensions as far as I can tell except the motor shaft is a little longer on the RC4WD. Any ideas on how to get the gears to run smoothly with that motor? Any help is greatly appreciated |

I found when I switched pinion gears the set screw was contacting the spur gear. Making a small mark on the pinion. Check it out before you do damage.
