Default Marine grease CC01

Hi,

I'm building a CC01 and I used dynamite marine grease instead of Tamiya grease. Is that ok? will the marine grease do any damage to the plastic gears?

Tks.

Idk about the gears. I use taymia and kyosho and amsoil grease and have not had a problem.

Amsoil Marine grease here as well, no issues.

I have found sand getting inside CC01 gearbox... sand+grease does a dirty number on the gears, worse than running them dry.

These days I use drylube wax on the gear teeth and only the slightest stain of molybdenum grease if they're noisy. Full ballbearings so no need to grease the shafts. Drylube only on all the joints outside covered gearbox.

I don't have a CC-01 yet (about to order one) but I use marine grease in all my other Tamiya vehicles and have no problems at all out of it. Plan to use it in my CC-01 when I build it.
