Default Rear stroke extension

Has anyone managed a DIY version of the rear stroke extension?

Default Re: Rear stroke extension

I recall seeing pics of DIY extensions before the Tamiya part existed. Seem to remember people using 2 traxxas rod ends joined with something like a 16mm grub screw. One end fixed to the upper shock mount, other end to the top of the shock.
