| Shave A-Arms or go aftermarket help?
Okay so I saw a couple threads and I know that you can shave a portion of the arm to gain a little more travel but is there any benefit to buying aftermarket will I gain the travel or will that still be a problem? Obviously I know it will look better I really don't care as far as that goes but it does look more scale to have an aluminum front

most of the aftermarket arms and C hubs I've seen still need shaving to get more travel and movement out of them. I'm currently looking at doing the HPI arm swap to get better steering - may be something for you to look into as they make those in aluminum too.

I've seen the conversion but your only gaining 10mm of travel supposedly, I know it's supposed to tighten up the steering somewhat as well. I'm obsessed with working on this rig always thinking of what's next

you can shave the arms. The only thing that limits it is the drive shaft. it is the limiting factor on how much more u can drop the suspension

Make sure you trim the bottom plate where the tierods sit. Shaving the arms didnt really give me much more travel. Trimming the bottom plate gave me more travel than the dogbones will allow
