|  Recommended shocks for CC01
Hi, I'm looking to replace the stock shocks on my CC01. Is there a recommended replacement set? I've been looking at the boomerang type 1 or the team raffee - both at 80mm. Any comments either way? Cheers, Pedro |

What is it bout the stock shocks you're looking to improve upon? I suppose mine could use slightly softer springs, but the fact that they don't leak and have been maintenance free means they'll be on the rig for the foreseeable future.

I've just looked at the manual for the CC-01 Land Freeder and the standard shocks have a much larger diameter than mine. This may be the issue ( I bought mine second hand ). They seem to stick and I haven't found a spring / oil combination that I'm happy with, possibly due to the little volume of oil in them. So, I'm swapping them out. Any recommendations ? Cheers |

I'm running the stock plastic shocks. They might not look flashy or particularly scale, but they work. You can also get aluminum versions. Just about every other "scaler" shock I've run leaks.

I ran the stockers, no need for anything else. My CC01 was extensively modified and was very competitive in scale comps back in the day.
