| Cc-01 steering mod/fix
Hi all I have been looking around youtube to see what people have done to fix the steering and come across a video by RC MOJO show how he sorted it. In the vid he used a gpm set up but made his own shaft between the arm to the servo and bottom arm and used screw pins to bolt them together. Question is has anybody else done this before? I hope this is useful info |

Here's some pics of how I did mine. Best thing you can do to a CC-01 IMO. Untitled by Joe, on Flickr Untitled by Joe, on Flickr Untitled by Joe, on Flickr Untitled by Joe, on Flickr Untitled by Joe, on Flickr I also added some aluminum braces that run vertically on each side of the chassis. It's a very stiff and respnsive setup. The aluminum plate up top really makes the chassis rigid. Untitled by Joe, on Flickr |

Or just pick up the Hot Racing steering instead. Much better setup. Mines been slop free since it was installed. | |

+2 on the hot racing setup, since I switched my rigs over to them I've been very happy.

I started with the GPM one for mine and as others stated it works, but develops slop over time. I switched over to the Hot Racing one as well, and it hasn't loosened up on me since I put it in.

I used the GPM set up and after having it come loose over and over I took it apart and added some threadlock to the slotted piece (between the two pieces that key together), it hasn't moved since.
