| Time for the next generation of kids
Now that the grandkids are older I've brought the RC stuff down off the garage shelf where they've sat since the boys moved out. This is our old CC-01 with a locked front diff and travel extenders on the rear. These two simple upgrade make this truck so much more trail ready.

Nice. If'n you're thinking of building a rig or two, Axial now offers a 'Raw Builders Kit' - basically the chassis with running gear - for $200. Choose your electronics, wheels and tires, and body. RedCat seems to be popular for a less costly RTR rig as well. And the Axial Deadbolt or Honcho are right about $300 RTR. My guess is you'll need seperate transmitters if they're going to drive them at the same time. My kids have no interest...and I don't see any grandkids coming any time soon. Enjoy. |
