Default Cc01 Jeep Liberty KJ

Started off with a green jeep liberty KJ body.. wasnt digging the green at all. So... it went into the paint booth.. It's far from done. I found the Kj body about a year ago.. now for the pictures.. I detailed the door handles.. third brake light.. I painted the turn signals amber.

Seems like a good use of a CC-01.

Love it. Been keeping an eye out for one of those bodies for a long time, never seem to catch one. Perfect fit on the CC chassis!

Definitely a hard to find body. Trying to figure out what else to do with it.. scale wise. (Not gonna cut it up) lol. I found a guy who can vacuum form a clear window for it so i can do interior. I've got other jeep rc's I'm working on also.

Perfect for the cc01! Looks perfect! I had a couple of these cc01s and they're a fun little rig as long as you take care of their quirks, I ran one in class 1 and it did pretty decent.

Where I live, we dont have comps. Mainly fun runs. Dont even have a rc store anymore. That makes it hard to get people into rc's. Mine runs pretty quiet. I'll make a video in the next day of so.

Here's a link to mine a few years ago, not really a long thread but you can see what I did in the rear to get some more suspension movement.

I saw that link before. Very cool build. I'll have to check that rear suspension out.
