Stroke Extension Link

Who has installed it and what do you think of it?

I had it on my old cc01 and loved it. Made a big difference. It is one of the best mods I made when I had mine.

I miss my cc01

Thanks for the input. I bought a set and will try to install this weekend. Looking forward to seeing how it runs.

Would this mod be applicable to a semi-crawler/rally set up?

I tried it, not a fan. Lets the suspension unload freely without any dampening, and the rear of my truck felt very loose/floppy. I modded the rear to use 90mm shocks. Gave me more travel and better suspension overall.

I’ve never tried it, but have avoided it for these exact reasons. Undampened suspension movement doesn’t appeal to me. I’ll stick with the limited travel.

Had it arrive on a LandFreeder.

Makes good posing articulation pictures. :)

But truck rolls over earlier when sidehilling or cornering fast on Tarmac.

Doodad didn't survive subsequent strip & rebuild.

Good thing I didn't order this. Otherwise it would be useless for my purpose.

They're kinda cool, but definitely not good for a rally setup.
In hindsight, I would rather just get longer shocks, as mentioned above.
