Default Jeep JK CC-01

Well I decided to keep this after trying to sell it a few days ago.
I think I would miss it too much with this jk body and how nicely it fits this chassis. Even though it needs to be mated with it yet.

Sweet body, I love the little drop bed in the rear even though that might be part of a problem getting it to mount on the CC01. Persevere my friend and get that thing looking all sexy. Also, Wiz Khalifa style, black n yellow black n yellow black n yellow.

Awesome, I did a new bright jeep rubicon last year, love em. Mine was a new bright but that one looks slightly smaller, what scale is it? Mine went onto my scx10 and had to lengthen the wheelbase so guessing this 1/12 or smaller?

White and Matt black, poison spyder would be cool too

Keep going

Thanks guys, Yes that is what I was thinking its going to take a bit of time to mount it up but once its all figured out it should set nice with it.
I think it is a bit smaller than a 1/10th size. I tried tlt axles with it and they drown the body. So definitely a bit smaller. This is the only chassis that really fits it.

Looking slick!! You can check my CC-01 Tundra build in the search menu or take a look an how I mounted my SCX10 Tundra in my signature. I think you might be the first to have a New Bright JK riding on a CC-01 chassis! None of that JK body on SCX10 frame nonsense everyone else is doing. Great job keeping it unique!

Well after not bothering with it for a long time, trying to sell it off, I finally decided to work on it this week.
Here are some updated photos of getting the body fitted up with the chassis.

Its turning out to be a fun little build. Not sure how crazy Im going to go with it after the body is mated up but we shall see.

Its been some time since I've updated this thread with some photos. Not much a whole lot of progress went on but did manage to get a steel tube roll cage in it. Fit the body to the chassis better & paint the interior. Added some leds to the headlights, blinkers and side marker lights. Deciding if I should change over the original shocks to smaller juggernaut 2 stock shocks. Of course they'll have to be modified. I made some aluminum links for the 4 link suspension in the rear as well. Starting to take shape.

Update photos.

Sorry, a lil late to respond but I only had to stretch it a half inch.

Some more progress pics. Things are going slow on this build as I am pressed for time with my 1:1 getting more attention all the time. lol!
I made some body mounts and got the body bolted to the chassis. Mounted the rear shocks to the chassis. I had to make some lower shock mounts for them. I fastened the interior to the chassis. Currently making a soft top bracket system and sewing up a soft top for it. Did some highlighting of the body, i.e. door handles gas cap, wipers, hood latches etc. More to do!!!!
