Re: CC01 Isuzu build. My Isuzu got a full metal jacket up front :) weighing in at healthy 2,7 kg including the battery.. http://i65.tinypic.com/2rm44ls.jpg Had to make some brass bushings to fit the shocks, since the metal parts don't come with proprietary step down screws.. |
Re: CC01 Isuzu build. Servo winch installed. Now, we can go anywhere....Just have to make the anchor... http://i68.tinypic.com/xc62c4.jpg http://i65.tinypic.com/2w314so.jpg http://i64.tinypic.com/2v8j1cj.jpg |

Re: CC01 Isuzu build. I've noticed I need an earth anchor for my winch. I've ordered that fancy foldable one, but not sure how much grip will it have in soft to medium soft ground.... so I made a spade anchor... http://i64.tinypic.com/azgep0.jpg |

Re: CC01 Isuzu build. My Isuzu has lost his skid plate. It was really impeding him. don't mind the scratched underbelly if it means he won't keep getting stuck on rock see-sawing on top of them... And I moved the links to the sides. I think i might re do my axle links as well..... http://i68.tinypic.com/33jlt8n.jpg |
Re: CC01 Isuzu build. I've modded the 4 link a bit more... I'll change the screws with some countersunk ones later... Do I have to change the driveshaft? Or is the stock one good enough? I'm not into the bling stuff.. just performance upgrades.... If I do decide to get a new one.. can I use the 120-155mm one for the current short wheelbase? I'd like to have the possibility to put some longer wheelbase bodies, without the need for another, longer driveshaft... http://i66.tinypic.com/2rhxovb.jpg http://i66.tinypic.com/akzf2s.jpg |
Re: CC01 Isuzu build. https://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/upl...5ba195a960.jpg Decided to ditch the old round side bumpers.. And made some new ones. Piece of aluminum and old PC case trim.. Looks pretty nice... https://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/upl...a1376b17f7.jpg https://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/upl...41c80e81d0.jpg |
Re: CC01 Isuzu build. took off the side skirts.. and added 12mm hex extenders... https://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/upl...ad0b319a8d.jpg |
Re: CC01 Isuzu build. A massive upgrade. Not sure why I did it.. YR steering was working flawlessly. But I wanted to try it out... In the end.. The winch had to be relocated, several tie rods made.. But it works. This is the maximum throw I can get. Tires are very close to the arches, and the CVD bent to the maximum. https://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/upl...2b4c50812a.jpg https://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/upl...84e4d52394.jpg https://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/upl...f257403e35.jpg https://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/upl...4c6cf1b1e9.jpg https://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/upl...9ea8bdcce3.jpg https://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/upl...ad1911ddba.jpg |
