Well... sometimes it's good to have a wife that's sneaky/crafty...

I've been waiting on a Pajero rally that's still stuck in customs (China) and also an MST CMX, that looks like it's also delayed (Australia). She took it upon herseft to order the CMX (Bronco) when I was looking at it as an alternative to the Pajero, as given what's going on in the world right now I have my doubts I'll ever see it (I hope I'm wrong though).

So, my wife surprised me (early B-day present) with a new vaterra ascender that came in Thursday... but what I didn't know was it was part of an overall grouping that she had been plotting.....



Looks like I've got some building to do after all.

EBAY, it was the only place that I could find the Pajero Rally (lexan body). It is a Tamiya, if that's what your wondering. I'm cringing a little bit at wheeling that metaltop hardbody on the trail, but that's what I do with my trucks, so we'll see how that goes.

The CMX Bronco showed up today.
Kinda' neat seeing Tamiya bodies come in other kits.

Got a reply from the seller of the Pajero Rally, and supposedly that should start heading my way soon as well. I got a lot of building to do now, but the trails are open and I just want to get outside.

I was going to build the metaltop Pajero 1st, but I think I'll save it for last, and do the CMX, followed by the HiLux.

There were some good deals on TamiyaUSA, must have been clearing out some stock. I ordered a kit too, but it's been well over a week and no shipping yet. Might be a while.

The Pajero Rally showed up today!

So... now I have three cc-01's I need to build (I managed to get the CMX built), but it's full-on crawling/trail-running season now .... so other than rainy days..... it may take me a while to get these going. I think I'll be building the Rally first though, since that was what started all of this.
