Lightbulb AX10 Scorpion...so easy, even a wife can do it?!?

Hmmmm we shall see!

Well, yesterday I bought my AX10 scorpion [that's right, I bought it] and I started to put it together. I never did it before and wanna do it all by myself and have minimal help. Only constructive criticism and support hehe

So far, I have put the axle and shocks together. I had to stop because after 30 minutes [literally] trying to insert the metal driveshaft yokes into the Drive Shafts I had to stop and ask my husby for help!:-(

Now, I can't wait to finish putting this together!

Here are some pics of my progress:

Thanks guys!

Well, today I did shocks only. It wasn't so bad. I had to ask Kev just to do some tightening and I did all the rest on my own.

And I guess I lost my right to complain about the mess he makes around the house with his crawlers. I am not a good example of cleanliness right now!

I wish my wife would get in to crawling too. But at least my daughter will get in to it soon.

Lies, there are no women on the internet, let alone building/running rc crawlers.

Keep up the good work, glad to see you building your own.

Yep, looks like a Crawler bomb went off...

Are you going to bring it to the PARC Comps?? Building them is only half the fun.

Great progress so far!!

You're welcome! and thanks!
Be sure to post pics of her AX10 here. It'd be so awesome to show you GUYS that we also can do it and on our own hehe. And since women are so detail oriented, ours will look so much better
I should just create the U.W.R.C.C. club [united wives/women of rc crawlers]

:-P Today I mounted the shocks and links to the axles. Put together the transmission and mounted it to the plate.

I can't wait til it's ready so I can put the EDGE on it.

Your rig is lookin sweet, but I would have thought that you could take your ole man into some upgrades( C's, strail axle adapter, hi clearance lower links, etc.) I guess you have been too busy building to ask. Keep up the good work.

Ah man, now you did it. She's going to ask for all these upgrades now! Damn!!!! Or maybe she'll just sneak into the warehouse and pinch the parts she needs!
