Default another cause for heat

after taking out my extra spool shims tonight i found more cause of drag.if you put the front wheels on too tight you will bend the little pins behind the hubs and they will push into the front bearing causing friction,i think this is the cause for my goat set up over heating with a 14t.i was alway tightening them real tight cause i have the vanquish wheels and they don't allow the nuts to thread on all the way.hopefully this might help someone else chaseing a over temp issue

sounds like your hex screws may have loosened too. those should lock them in place and let you crank the wheel down.
