Default Need Help!!

Ok let me explain what im trying to run, Im using a teken rebel II & a 35 turn lathe with a 18 tooth pinon & an 8 cell split pack's the wheel speed is preaty good but after 5 min of driving in my basement the motor got almost to hot to touch, Im trying not to run lipo for cost reasons!! Any help or suggestions! Thanks Tom!!

Thats how it is, worm gears are inefficient so they will heat that little motor up!

He is correct. Your money may need to be spent on brushless and not lipos. But the worms will eat brushed motors up went through a 35,45, and 55 untill I went brushless and that was the trick. So you may have to cough up the $$ to get it to do what you r lookin for.

one thing that will help is drop the pinion several teeth i wouldnt run over a 14-15t on a 35t

Go brushless I had the same problem went brushless no more heat issues.
