| Ok let me explain what im trying to run, Im using a teken rebel II & a 35 turn lathe with a 18 tooth pinon & an 8 cell split pack's the wheel speed is preaty good but after 5 min of driving in my basement the motor got almost to hot to touch, Im trying not to run lipo for cost reasons!! Any help or suggestions! Thanks Tom!! |

| Thats how it is, worm gears are inefficient so they will heat that little motor up! |

| He is correct. Your money may need to be spent on brushless and not lipos. But the worms will eat brushed motors up went through a 35,45, and 55 untill I went brushless and that was the trick. So you may have to cough up the $$ to get it to do what you r lookin for. |

| one thing that will help is drop the pinion several teeth i wouldnt run over a 14-15t on a 35t |

| Go brushless I had the same problem went brushless no more heat issues. |
