Default why did losi make it have just a lipo battrey holder?

i still use nimh cells and its a great 8 cell that i run and i love the run time, power and the compactness of the 2/3 cells. so my question is why did Losi not think about all the guys that use nimh cells when building this truck? that and the plastic dig is the only thing that turns me off on this truck but i will buy one. also does anybody know if the axial mip drive shafts would fit this truck?

They were probably thinking of lowering the COG and the total weight of the rig.

think about it this way, at least they didnt give you a huge battery holder on top of the chassis for a sub c stick pack. they actually had the rigs performance in mind. not only that but how many crawler manufacturers actually make their crawlers w/ front axle plates for batteries. plus not too many hobby shops carry 1/3 A split packs

again....
how many out of the box crawlers are on the market (mini's excluded) gives you a 2/3 a option over a sub c option....

its ok i'll wait....

pluss you can probabbly just install a 2/3 a brick pack on that lipo tray.
*note i dont have a lcc yet im still waiting for more after market support

Come on guys. This is a model building hobby. Build your own battery mounts, or wait for someone else to market some and pay them for their efforts. Like noted before, none of the model manufactures came up with mounting batteries on the axles. It was a invention of necessity and performance.

x2. Even most scale rigs run lipos due to size and weight.
