What are you using for a dig servo? The servo I bought for it was DOA, and the only thing I have that will fit is a hitec HS56HB (steering servo from my RC18B). Think it will do the job? I don't want to go without dig while I wait on getting the new one replaced

The hs56hb probably won't work. It's rated at 16 oz/in and that probably won't cut it. Guess I have to wait till my "new" one is fixed.

The 225 is what I bought to put in it. Guess I've been without dig for this long, another few days won't kill me.... Especially as tight at this thing will turn anyway.

I started off with a standard mini JR servo (like $34 for it), While adjusting the end points for the dig, I went 10% to much and strip'd it within a split second. I went back to the LHS and grab'd a $90 metal gear JR servo, sure it's over kill but I won't have to worry as much with stripping it out by accident.

Does anyone know how much torque the Losi MRC steering servo has? It isn't listed anywhere I have looked.

I looked all over for that info - I found somewhere (don't remember where now - but seemed reliable at the time) - the Losi servo was in the mid 50's oz/in I'm pretty sure. I picked up another HS225MG today, seems to work great - at least on the bench and the basement floor...

That HiTec servo looks great. The only thing is, do you think it would behave with all of my JR electronics? hehe:-D:? ...stay tuned. | |
