i'm not really following what your saying but there is a small hex shaped hole in the end of the shaft you hold that and turn down the nut till it stops slipping,,,

do the wheels turn when you tighten it up and hold the truck in the air?

if thats that happens it sounds like maybe your stalling it, something could be bound up or geared to high. maybe check to see if anything in the slipper area is binding from pressure.

does it make any kind of noises?

Hate to ask, don't take this the wrong way...

Are you sure you're tightening the Slipper nut and not the Dig nut?

Barring that...

Is the tranny binding when its tight? Motor is spinning fine? Pull the tranny (4 bolts) and run it in your hand w/o the shafts/wheels... are you getting the output shafts turning? run the dig back and forth, same? If so, pull the first tranny cover/part off (hides the slipper gear, idler gear and pinion) everything look OK? turn it by hand?

Thats perplexing.. really if the slipper is tight all it does is lock the slipper gear to the input shaft there to turn the gear connected in the dig unit and that inturn rotates the output gear to the dig plates. There is not much to the transmission, the slipper is the only real "adjustable" portion.
