Default Losi MOA esc and motors

Getting ready to start buying my electronics, and wanted some feed back. I am going with Mamba Max, Holmes hand wound 35t motors. I this a good choice, and will those motors work good for MOA? I just don't want to spend $160 on 10t pullers but want the choice later( thats way I am going Mamba). Thanks for the help Ty.

I have a FXR but I have been told it cant run 2 35t motors. It sounds like that may not be the case. What kind of temps are you getting, motors and esc? The esc is just the FXR not the Pro? Thanks for the reply. Ty

Go into any of the MOA areas and read up a bit.

I have 35t motors on my FXR and so do many others.....

I ran 14t pullers and compared to the 35t---35t is a much better motor as you get a sort of cogging for the pullers..

I am running the MambaMax with Integy 35t's on 3s. Minimal stall, and what stall they do have has actually helped my crawling. The truck seems to know when I need to use the dig and does it for me. I would like to try 7t Pullers later on just to see how they work.

I'm running a Mamba Max, 35 turn handwound warriors, and a 30c battery. This combo feels very good to me. I ran it at worlds and had no issue with any of it and it took me to 8th place.

I'm running an FXR(updated software) two 35t warrior R's. I have little issues with heat unless it binds up on the rocks. I have only seen three lights on the ESC. the temp on my ray-tech is only 115˚F, the hottest I ever got it with this set up. When I tried the 19t Brood it would thermal on me all the time. Just make sure you have the latest firmware on the FXR.

I run the FX-R with Integy 35t's with no problem. Is there some difference with the Holmes 35t's I'm not aware of? Thinking of getting some for my MOA.
