| Aussie LCC
hey all well i finally received my LCC today i opened the box and i was amazed with the crawler.. um i dont have any electrics yet as im getting them next week, but ill be running HH35t or integy 35t mamba max esc 1250mah 2s lipo dx3s radio have not got a servo picked out yet. ok so i have read through alot of the threads here and taken in all the tips and tricks to break in the diffs and so on. How ever i noticed that when i opened the box there was no extra cvd's just LCC and stickers and few spare screws and instruction booklet. now im A, thinking it already has the revised ones fitted or B, they got left out? Can i tell this by the batch number? if so is it the number on the tranny/dig unit? which that number is (RC-003481) any help would be a greatly appreciated thanks Reece |

You can tell by looking at the CVDs.. The slot for the pin was cut with a saw and extends the cut into the axle too far. There are pics here in one of the threads.

Looks good. good gears, slanted to the right & everything. Not been on the rocks yet huh? I can tell cause the body is lower than the skid(will drag on the rocks & make that horrible noise). I like the simple yet effective paint job. |

well got my stuff today CKRC 35t motor, novak fan, shock dampers and i now have 12,13,14,15 and a 18tooth pinions will start with 12 and see how it goes. will get motor and fan mounted then ill pack some grease in the diffs this time next week when i get back from work with the slew ring grease.. and hopefully all should go well.. also i need some help with my mamba max esc. i dont know if the drag brake is turned off and my computer has windows vista, i tried to upload the castle link software but it wont work. I have read the manual programming section in the booklet but im a bit confused and from what i gather i wait for 5 beeps to access the drag barke?? then i give it full throttle to say yes and then wait for another beep to say no drag brake and select yes again to turn it off??? can some one please help me out here as i dont want to screw it all up by not turning the drag brake off.. The latest CastleLink software works fine in Vista... I'm running it both in Vista and Windows7.

well i put the losi completely together today CKRC 35t motor with a 15t pinion, Mamaba max esc, hobbico cs-170 servo i cut the bottom of the body a bit instead of bending it. im not running a dig servo as i need to get one.. i ran it with a stick pack ontop like the std ax10 as i dont have a big enough lipo for a good run, i got over an hour out of a 3000mah NIMH!!!! with more to go. Will be getting a bigger 3s lipo in the next month or so.. carnage was only stripped out the alloy servo horn that came with the losi now have a plastic one on there hopefully it will hold till i get another alloy one.. got a few bind/stalls but nothing major and no other damage. motor got warm but i could touch it and the diffs got about half the warmth of the motor. let me know what you think.. i drove into this and out of it i was so amazed , cause the stick pack is on the top too!!!!! all of the rocks are in my back yard too.. |

I wish I had that backyard. Try a 4s lipo like 1300mah or something close. That is what I am going to try if I can't get my 3s/FXR/35t combo to quit smokin.
