Ok I'm looking at the new .7 SLW's for my Losi. I need some help from those who have a better idea on the widths for the hubs. I'm thinking along the lines of running 10" width up front and a 9 3/4" rear. Now with the ..7 SLW's would that mean I would get the 600 hubs for the front and the 475 hubs for the rear to hit my target? For those of you running them what have you found with the measuring on the hubs? What mods did you have to make to run these wheels since the hubs aren't built for the losi?

I'm running the .7's. I'm using 350 in the front, and 225 in the rear. 600's would make it kinda wide, but it would be stable, depends on how much gate clearance you desire. I did try the 600's just to see, it just seemed too wide to me. Your spacer sizes would be pretty close to the measurements you want. I didn't mod anything, but the nylon portion of the hex huts won't really engage on the stubs, so just have to check them before a run.

With the 350 up front does it keep your tire at full lock out of the shocks and link? Hum your tires are a tad smaller then the rovers but I know with my rovers on factory wheels at 80 percent into the steering range with it flexed the tire is wrapped around the bottom link and spring with the rim up against it as well. Thats why I was looking at the 600's to get the tire off the shock just a bit.

Yea, with the 350's and using the comp claws, the tires are hitting at full lock, not stuffing em in, but deflecting about 1/8" or so. With 600's and claws, I have about 3/16" or so of clearance, so with rover's it will be close. The tires grow around 1/8" or so in diameter when mounted on the .7's

Cool. Been wanting a set of SLWs but wasn't sure what spacers to run. Thanks for posting those pics.

I'm running the 1.0 SLW with the 725 offset with the Leopards. Prob the best setup I have run so far, in my opinion. Still have plenty of room to get through gates... if you have front and rear burn this shouldest be a problem clearing gates. |

How are you getting 9 7/8" with the 350 and 9 1/4" with the 225? There is only 1/8" difference per side for a total of 1/4" width difference between those 2? You sure you don't have the 475 in the front? |

Where I screwed up is getting the tires properly centered on the rims when measuring. After carefully centering the tires, I got these measurements: 9 3/4" for the front(350): 9 1/2" for the back(225): I'll try to be more careful when measuring things like this in the future, sorry!
