Best upgrade yet... Spend some time behind the controller and learn how to drive it well...

The real question is are you going to compete with it? If so I would get a Losi CC and go from there. By the time you upgrade everything you need it will add up. The Night Crawler is a great rig to just go crawl with! I think I have done every upgrade you can for the LCC. Some good, some great. The Rocksmith steering kit is awesome. It's even better if you get the Losi aluminum knuckles and C's. It will take almost all of the steering flex away in return keep your CVD's happy. You can get the knuckles, C's, and aluminum rear lockouts at JP Customs for a great price. If you decide to go with a different chassis again look to JP Customs for the HellStorm chassis. It is a great addition to the LCC http://www.jpcustomrcs.com/home.html Next you need some power for this rig. Holmes Hobbies is your answer here. The new Holmes Hobbies BR-XL ESC is the cats meow!!! Get it! There is no other ESC that can do what this one does for crawling! http://holmeshobbies.com/product.php...4&cat=2&page=1 The best upgrade IMO for this rig is the Eritex MOA conversion! It takes a already great rig and makes it one of the best crawlers out there. http://eritexinc.com/zencart/index.php?main_page=index If you go MOA then you will need some good motors. Yep, Holmes Hobbies again! 10T Pullers Gets-Er-Done! I run HH pullers in almost all of my rigs and even in one of my drag cars! You can't beat his motors or customer service! Tires are next. Panthers are the way to go IMO. The Leapords or Cougars are a great choice. But your tire choice will depend on what kind of rocks your crawling on to. Panther is a proven tire and comp winner. Wheels.... I run several different kind. Eritex, DNA, Vanquish are my main wheels. Again this choice is really one for you to decide for yourself. If you go MOA you will need a dig unit. Punk RC has you covered here! Their dig unit has changed the way we look at dig units in RC crawling. It's small, well designed, easy to hook up, clean, and flat out works like it should! You need a good dig get a Punk RC dig unit! http://www.punkrc.com/ Other than that be on the look out for some new parts for the LCC that will be out really soon that will take this rig to yet another level! Do a lot of reading here in the LCC threads. Look at the builds that are here and the simple mods as well. Enjoy your new rig and support our vendors. If you need any help let me know. If it's about the LCC I've done it or have it |

Or you could do that . I have about everything he mentioned. Dig, rims, chassis, motors, tires, moa kit (wouldent be possible without this amazing kit). Again it's a disease and adicting. But nothing better in rcin than crawlin! Last edited by fa1rch1ld; 10-15-2009 at 11:20 AM. |

I didn't understand what you typed...I think you asked is it better to put the Lipo on the front Links? If that is your questions I would say it is better. If you would like to do it you take some lexan sheet that you get from a hobby store. you cut it out of the same design and angle of your upper links. Than you ziptie it to the upper links...Than you can velcro or velcro strap it to the links. |
